Hey everyone!

Sorry I haven't written in awhile. In August/September, I visited with some of my cousins (Missy's cousins and their dolls). It was so much fun! I'll try to scan in a couple of pics sometime.

Anyhoo, I got back home, in September and found out that-I'M BEING ARCHIVED!!!!! This doesn't make me happy at all. :( Missy did buy me my nightgown which helped cheer me a little. It's so nice and warm! And with the free shipping code last month, she made sure to get me my trunk-and got it just in time, too! It's awesome-Jess, Peter and I can put all our clothes and stuff in it.

I'm not sure if I'm getting any of my stuff for Christmas; whether I do or not, I guess it's okay...I want to make a dirndl sometime. Addy said she's making me something, so I'm going to make her something, too. And I have to figure out what to make or get for Jess and Peter. Christmas is going to be coming up soon! So it St. Lucia! So that makes me excited!

Yesterday Samantha Noelle hosted a sewing circle. It was nice, though I lose the fabric I wanted to bring. Now I have to try to find it. So I made something else instead.

Well...Caro wants to go for a walk, so I think I'll stop here for now. I'll try to update again, soon.

Hey guys :)

Guess what? I'm going to be visiting Melissa's cousins and their dolls, for a little bit! I can't wait to meet them. I'm leaving today and Melissa will pick me up, in mid September, when she goes to visit them.

I still have to pack and change into the outfit I'm going to be wearing.

Also, Jess has been working on sewing something, with the help of Ms. Merriman. She won't let me see it. I'm wondering if it's for me? Wouldn't that be fun! I caught a small glimpse of the fabric and it's really pretty.

So for a minute there, I thought all my friends had been sold or something! But they were just waiting in another room, to surprise me :)

My Welcome Home album

I'm trying to get all the new girls' names down and getting to know them. I changed into my pretty birthday outfit :) I got home at a good time, too, because Traveling Laurel is supposed to come for a visit in a couple days. It'll be fun meeting her-we can talk about all our travels! And all the dolls at camp are coming home next week. They got to visit me on Sun. And Jess is coming home early-tomorrow, I think.

Oh yeah, my stuff from OR came and Shasta was found-yay! I had gotten him on my first set of travels, in Washington.

I'm definitely enjoying being at home :D

2)What is my favorite color?

3)Besides Peter, who do I live with, in Star Valley?

4)What number AG doll (order wise) am I, in Star Valley?

Back in NH

Sorry I didn't write at all last month. I meant to but didn't get around to it. I'm in NH but not yet home yet. I'm at my last host's house-Auntie Jenny. She and Missy are RL friends. I got here on my birthday, last month, and have been having fun hanging out with all my friends and Traveling Alex :).

I got Uglydoll Peaco for my birthday-he's awesome and pink! Alex and I also made "How Well Do you Know Traveling Kirsten" quizzes for everyone to fill out, hehe. I'll post them in another entry, to see how well all you guys know ;) <-So, take the quiz before you look at the album below.

Here is my album of my stay at Auntie Jenny's.

Some of my stuff accidentally got left in OR, so they're being mailed home. And my souvenirs from my first host, are going to be mailed home soon, too. Somehow...I lost Shasta though. He's my little brown bear I got in 2007 from one of my hosts. I can't remember if he was in the box with me, on my way here, or if he got left behind in OR, too... Oh well. Auntie Jenny got me a pink bear-I named her Strawberry.

Oh, one night, last month, I had the most awesome surprise-Missy slept over!!!! I was sooooooo excited to see her! She brought home most of my stuff, too.

Anyhoo, Auntie Jenny went away for a few days, so us dolls are just hanging out and making a huge mess in her room, hehehe. We're having fun sleepovers :D

Greetings From Oregon!

Hi! Most of my time in Utah wound up being rainy but that's okay. Violet and I found fun ways to work on our schoolwork and play!

It was sad when I had to leave, though; Violet and I hugged goodbye.

I had to be off to my next host-crazy_doll_lady in Oregon! When I arrived, I was greeted by some of the girls there. We chatted and watched the feature length movie my friends and I starred in, Backyard Campout- (click here to see the trailer for it).

While in OR, I've visited a jail and learned some defensive moves-I promise I won't use them unless I'm absolutely in a dangerous situation and need to use them.

I also got to play at Sacajawea/Hood Park, with jayd (who is always in a hurry) and Krystal:

And this photo is for Kaya-one of my bestest friends at home! It's of a passage her ancestors might've taken, by the Columbia River!

Anyhoo, I'm having a blast here, in OR-ttfn!

Spring in Utah

Hiya everybody! I've been having so much fun with Violet, in Utah! We met in 2006 when she traveled to NH/Star Valley. It's great to see her state now. I got here in time for Easter and we had an Easter Egg hunt which was really fun!

A few days ago, we went to Red Butte Garden to learn about plants and see all the pretty flowers! There were tons of daffodils in bloom! You can see the pretty Spring photos on Violet's blog :)

Anyway, I've got to go for now. TTFN!

Lots of love,
Kirsten <3

My Stay In Long Island part 1.

Sorry I'm just now getting to posting about my stay in NY, when I'll be leaving soon. I've been so busy that I haven't had time to actually sit down and write about it until now.

I am currently residing in Long Island, with my host mom and her girls: Mia, Nicki, Sam, Molly and KIRSTEN!! It was so exciting meeting another Kirsten. The Kirsten here looks SO different from me, but the same also! She is shorter than I am too. Here is a close up of our faces, next to eachother:

ok so anyways... I was delivered to my current abode on March 11. The delivery dude dropped me on the doorstep and split. So I was just laying there in my box for HOURS!! I was really bored and anxious which is not a great combination! But finally I heard a car pull up nearby, with a car slam, and footsteps... then I was lifted and carried away. I felt myself going upstairs and towards many little excited voices. I was finally placed down and could feel myself being surrounded by other dolls who were just as anxious to meet me, as I was to meet them.

I heard tape being ripped and some light creeping in

And finally...

*(my eyes are closed 'cause, honestly I was a little nervous/scared, athough I am getting much more used to this whole thing, you never know what to expect in a new home!)

We were all so excited to meet each other!

We sat around in a circle telling stories. I was the only traveling girl in the bunch!!

It was really cool to share stories. I love all of these new dolls, they are are all really nice and we all got along right away!

It was pretty late outside already and we were all getting tired, so it was time for a bath and to get ready for bed.

Kirsten and I put on matching PJS!! it was fun! We had a mini-slumber party. She was soooo excited because she never met another Kirsten before!

SO, that was my first night in my new home!!!

I really like it here. OH and I also met a cat named Jacs, who reminds me a little bit of Charlotte back home, and I was a little home sick, I miss Missy and Grandlinda, and everyone else back at home! But I am glad that I get to travel and know it's a great opportunity for me! As I can see from all the places I have been, very few dolls are as lucky to travel as I am!!

I have so much more to tell you about (I spend the day pretend working at Bloomingdale's, and 4 days in florida!!), but I will save those stories for a little bit later!!

Hallie and I spent time at Missy's college, too-and Pleasantburg Academy, the dollie boarding school there-along with some others. And Jess and I live together in Star Valley, a small doll town). IMPORTANT

I changed the address of this blog from kirstentravel to travelingkirsten.blogspot.com, so please make that change in your links/favorite sites sections of your blogs :) I accidentally had left out the blogspot part, one time, when typing my blog address in and turns out there's some site with the link kirstentravel.com so I thought making a change would be good. travelingkirsten sounds better, too.

Thanks everyone!

In New York!

Hey guys!

I know, I know-I forgot to post-again. I swear, I need a laptop for the next round of travels I do (this round ends in summer and then I'll take a break for awhile but may travel again next year or something-it's fun!)

Anyhoo. Colorado was fun. After exploring the new house, we visited Boulder Canyon and Estes Park. It was so fun! Also, I got to meet a traveling American boy-Traveling JD! That was really neat.

Here are a few pics:

Currently I'm in NY with agfan84 and having a blast! We even spent a few days in FL although the pool water was too cold. It was still fun to sit by the pool. I also got to see agfan84's work and "dressed for success" myself, lol. I'll have a blog entry about my NY adventures, complete with photos, posted soon, I promise ;) I can't believe my time here is almost over-wow time sure flies when you're having fun! And I'll try not to neglect this blog so much. How many people look at this? I should get it posted in my section on Traveling Doll Boards, hehe.

In Colorado :)

Hey everyone! I'm so sorry I haven't posted...again. I'll try to do that more often.

Anyhoo, since I last left off, I've been to VA with christine76 where I had to start my own adventures. I met lots of new friends and I went to the Scottish Walk Parade and we took a trip to DC to see a hockey game! I bet Mischa is jealous. I missed going to AGPC again but I did get an awesome customized shirt from there :)

I also was last in OH with katehoward and Gary the pig-he was a great tour guide! We saw lots of museums; one had an awesome rock and mineral collection! I've learned a lot about Ohio and about Neil Armstrong and Space and the Warren G. Harding home/Presidential Memorial! I also went to this old and famous OH restaurant and got a mug from there; everyone thought I was awesome! The mug is funny and says "your grandpappy ate here." hehe.

Currently I'm back in Colorado with asg17 and her crew. I'm having fun hanging out with all my friends from there, who I met in summer 2007, as well as meeting some new faces. Gwen and I explored their new house which was fun :) Well, that's all to update for now.

Lots of Love,
Kirsten
