Sorry I haven't posted in a little bit. I've been busy and life at home (in Star Valley) has changed a bit. It all has to do with my birthday surprise, which was awesome! For those of you who haven't heard yet, my mama arrived in Star Valley, on my birthday!!!! My cousin, Anna, was the first one to wake. I guess she's been waking up really early almost every day, ever since she moved in with Jess, Peter and I, while we've been a bit lazy and getting up later.

Anyway, so mama woke us up and after rubbing my eyes a bit, I looked up, saw her and jumped up to give her a great big hug! I've missed her so so much! We all got dressed and had a picnic and everything; it was wonderful!

The next day, of course, started all of us having to get up at dawn. We're going back to our (me, mama, Anna and Peter) pioneering roots more, which means lots more chores around the cabin. We still do some modern stuff/have some modern items. Mama says I can still wear my modern outfits, too, though I should wear my pioneer clothes most. I'm cool with that, hehe. Or I like to wear something pioneer, then the next month, modern, then the next month back to historical, etc.

Jess isn't so keen on getting up really early and I admit, I've gotten so used to not getting up early, haha. I have to get back in the farming, pioneering habit.

Mama made a list of projects she wants to do this year. She wants to make new dresses/outfits for everyone (she'll help Anna and me with our summery dresses), a sunbonnet for her and one for Anna, quilting, braiding a new rug...all this and Mama is almost the new owner of the Star Valley General Store! She and Ms. Merriman just have to go over a couple more papers. Jess and I will help her when she needs it. It'll be fun; we still have Apple Blossom Finery, too, but that's a lot smaller.

Outside of Star Valley, nothing much is happening. Missy is thinking about getting #19, again. A #19 was on the list for awhile but then Missy decided she didn't want another classic-mold AG but recently she's been wanting her again. A #50 will still come, too and probably a Julie.

Oh yeah, speaking of Julie, Auntie Jenny's Julie says 'hi!' She's sitting next to me. She's visiting here while Addy is visiting Auntie Jenny and her dolls.

Well, I've got to go, so I'll just leave you with a couple photos from my birthday :)

Kirsten, we're glad that your mama is here to stay. We hope that you will have alot of happy days ahead, now that she is here. Did you show her all the photo and your diary on your travels. And all the things that you got. Tell her we all said hi.

Hi Kirsten,

I'm so glad your mama could join you, Anna, and Peter in Star Valley! She is very pretty, and I can see where you get your good looks from. ;)

BTW, Missy shouldn't feel bad about wanting another classic mold AG! Girls with the classic mold are the best (though I think you and I might be a bit biased, hehe). #19 is also adorable and would make a great addition to Star Valley.

I'm looking forward to seeing you again in a couple of months!
